Senior Associate Funds (m/f/d)

The company

Our client is a leading German bank. As part of the build-out of its new office in Luxembourg, we are mandated to identify a Senior Associate Funds (m/f/d).

In this role, the successful candidate will support client relationship management, transaction execution and portfolio management within the Bank’s Fund Finance business, delivering high-quality analysis and coordinating internal processes across functions, locations and cultures.

Your responsibilities

• Support the structuring and execution of fund finance and other relevant corporate banking transactions.
• Prepare credit analyses, transaction proposals and approval materials.
• Conduct financial and risk assessments.
• Support portfolio monitoring and the wider client relationship across financing, accounts, payments, deposits, cash management, FX and other relevant products.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders throughout approval and execution processes.
• Assist in the management of waivers, amendments and refinancing activities.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and risk parameters.
• Prepare management reports and portfolio reviews.
• Support process improvements and knowledge sharing; coach more junior colleagues where appropriate and contribute proactively to effective teamwork.
• Responsibility for assigned transaction workstreams.
• Delivery of high-quality analysis and documentation.

Your skillset

• Degree in economics, business administration or a comparable qualification.
• Relevant banking, finance or credit experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Understanding of lending products and credit processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills, with a proactive work ethic and the ability to work effectively across functions, locations and cultures.
• Business-fluent English; French and/or German would be an advantage.
