Our client is a highly dynamic financial services company with international operations.
We are looking for a passionate Manager Strategy & Innovation (m/f/d) to join the recently established Corporate Development department in Munich. In this role, you will drive strategy development and support business units in the implementation of strategy, as well as monitor trends and identify innovative developments to continuously future-proof the company's business model in collaboration with the team.
Ihre Aufgaben
- Drive Strategy Execution: Execute the company’s strategy process and independently lead strategic initiatives through in-depth research, data analysis, and visualization of results
- KPI Analysis and Monitoring: Develop and monitor the framework of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to strategic objectives
- Trend Analysis and Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, innovative developments, and future profit pools. Provide structured overviews and generate ideas on how these trends could impact or complement the company’s business model. Support business units in implementation
- Facilitate Innovation Activities: Coordinate and facilitate innovation activities, including meeting preparation, moderation, and results’ documentation
- Sustainability Initiatives: Track company´s sustainability initiatives and contribute to the development of a comprehensive sustainability strategy
- Board Collaboration: Support the leadership team through crafting compelling presentations and hands-on analyses
Das bringen Sie mit
- Successfully completed university studies in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- Relevant experience of 3-5 years in a corporate strategy function or strategy consulting firm, experience in the re-/insurance industry is a big plus
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as experience in data analysis, with a knack for turning data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced skills in financial modelling and proficiency in relevant software tools such as Excel, PowerPoint/Think Cell, and Word including visualization of information tailored to stakeholders’ needs
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Business-fluent spoken and written English and German
