Our client is a young, dynamic, and very successful German private equity fund with a focus on climate solutions and sustainability projects. For their portfolio management team, they are interested in hiring an Operations Manager (m/f/d) who will either support the CEO of the portfolio company during the transformation process or take on an executive management role in the portfolio company. In this case you will be responsible for a portfolio company in the wind energy industry with a strong buy&build case.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Pre-transaction: participation in the deal process and due diligence, especially on operational, strategic and management issues, including the development of robust improvement/restructuring concepts and business cases
• Post-transaction: taking on an executive management position in a specific portfolio company, either as a wingman to support the CEO or in an interim executive management position of one's own
• Mid-term career perspective: to become a CEO of a future portfolio company

Das bringen Sie mit

• 5-8 years of professional experience from a top tier strategy consulting firm
• Ideally mid-market (German ‘Mittelstand’) exposure or at least “mind-set”
• Experience in wind energy and/or alternative energies
• Outstanding academic credentials and steady & consistent career progression
• Willingness to travel and work on-site at the portfolio companies
• Highly ambitious and motivated
• Hands-on, ‘get-things-done’ type of person
• Excellent German & English language skills
